It was a nice warm night and we had a good turn out with Anna and Devin visiting our ward for a few wks while they stayed on Kim and Deidre's farm. I wish you guys could stay longer. It was so good to have you back and be able to catch up.
Louise and Anna
gorgeous little Darcy
Then we had our regulars - Allen and Katherine, Dean and Mel, Levi and Louise and us. Emma and Leon could not come as Emma's family was down for their baby's blessing and Tash was not feeling well so her and Tom stayed home. Our other regulars Toni and Jaron of course moved to Shearwater - we missed you guys and there was not a speck of pumpkin in sight Jaron.
catching up on some baby talk
Jackie had her hands glued to her head
After doing that, the person had to pick up a curse card. For example, it would say, everytime you talk sneeze first or everytime you have to speak pretend there is a golf ball in your mouth.
We all could not stop laughing. When you picked up your curse card you got to give the curse to someone and they had to do that for the rest of the game. If you forgot to do your curse you were out of the game and got to give your curses to someone else.
By the end of the game I had about 12 curses and I had to sneeze before I spoke, hold my wrists on top of my head like they were stuck there like glue, repeat the last word i said everytime I spoke, bok like a chicken at the end of each sentence and the list went on.
Anna had to ball her hands in fists and had to try and pick up cards like that. It was a crack -up so see. Later on the boys decided to play this game that gives you an electric shock if you are the last to press a button on your lever.
Obviously we are short on entertainment out here in Westbury. It was a great night and I can't wait to continue doing it again next year.
