Today we went to Ulverstone to spend the day with Oma and Pop for Sarra's birthday. Oma rang us earlier in the week and invited us for lunch. It was a lovely idea as we normally miss a little of spoiling Sarra on her birthday as it is on Boxing Day.

We had a lovely lunch and for dessert, Sarra got her favourite food of all... raspberries. She will be pleased to know Jalen has also discovered them. Sarra likes them fresh by themselves with just a hint of sugar.
After lunch we went to the park and the kids had a wonderful play. Sarra pushed Pop on the merry go round and he nearly fell off, she pushed so fast. I should have got a photo of that one.
Sarra got some lego and a beanie kid for her birthday and she was so excited to get an early birthday present. I think it meant a lot more to her because it was early and not a day mixed in with Christmas, where you don't seem to feel as special on your birthday because everyone is getting presents anyway.
Sarra says thankyou Oma and Pop for such a wonderful pre-birthday treat. Her and Hallie are fighting over the raspberries they got to bring home.
