Tonight I got to have a cuddle of a very newborn baby. At 1.30am on Thursday morning, Katherine gave birth to little Niamh (Irish spelling - pronounced Neve) weighing in at 8 pounds 2 ounces.Katherine was only in the hospital for 40 mins before she was born and from beginning to end was only 3.5hrs. She says the hard yakka was only the 40 mins in the hospital. Sounds like a dream labour to me! If such ones do exist.
Today she brought her home and I got to have a little cuddle.
