Yesterday on our only nice day of the week (but I'm not complaining because we so need the rain), we held a pre-holiday madness morning tea for the RS sisters. It was just a get-together to socialise and unwind before
1. the school holidays hit
2. there's a panic over last minute Christmas gifts
3. standing in line for hours at kmart (because we only have the one in Launy)
4. cooking Christmas Day breakfast or lunch or dinner(or being unlucky enough to have to do all 3) ... and then being left to clean up when everyone flakes out on the lounge from too much food
5. making sure Santa is ready to go and picking the right treat for him to eat Christmas night (Santa can get quite fussy when he comes down our chimney)
We had about 16 sisters come and it was great to see everyone relaxed and enjoying themselves in the sunshine.
On Tuesday I helped Mel make holiday survival kits for the sisters. Well actually I just went to the supermarket to buy all the lollies.
Mel had the idea and design for the bags and had them all cut out. I just helped glue them together and load them full of goodies. So Collettie I can't tap into my 'Mollyness' even if I tried but I'm always good to think about the food side. (us Gibsons and food is a family joke).
Some new additions......... Leo, Jonty and Lachlan. This year we have had 6 babies born in Deloraine ward, 5 boys and 1 girl.
