I saw Hallie pull a sheet off the line, pegs went a-flying and she started using it as a cape. Instead of telling her off which was my first reaction, Simon asked her to help him get the clothes off the line properly, taking the pegs off first etc. Because Hallie can't reach the line, this was how she solved the problem, swinging around like a monkey taking off the pegs as Simon pulled the clothes off.
She never ceases to amaze me with her agility and balance. I can't wait to get her started in a sport as she obviously has a natural talent at gross motor skills. When I played basketball before I was pregnant with Jonty, she would walk around the YMCA, dribbling the ball like a pro and everyone would comment. It was always so funny because she is so small and the ball would look so big next to her.

Oh wow - she is amazing! She would be great at gymnastics or something.
Oh I love my clothesline as well. I even had Doug put one up in my basement for wintertime. It's not the most lovely thing in the world, but I'm pretty darn cheap. I look forward to summer when my clothes dry in an hour in our dry desert air.
if only i were that strong!
she's awesome. i love the action photos.
I love these shots! We aren't allowed to even have a clothes line in our community - I guess they think it's too ugly! Crazy heh! I used to love swinging off the clothes line at our house in Launceston when we were growing up. There was a 1m retaining wall on one side and so you could jump off from there and then go flying around. Great fun until Dad saw us!
Hallie is a champion...love all your posts..no net so comments will be lacking :)
