Websters for Tea

On Sunday night we went to the Websters for tea. Mel and Dean and the kids came too which was so nice to just sit and relax because lately whenever Mel and I catch up, its always for RS stuff so we decided no shop talk. The kids forgot that Mel and Dean had moved out and went to race upstairs to play with all the toys. We had to remind them that now, Mel's sister Sherri and her husband Jasen were upstairs and because they only have 2mth old Mymona, there was nothing for them to play with up there. It took a while for them to process all that but Jackie soon had them engrossed in a movie.

As usual Jackie cooked up a storm with a mouthwatering lamb roast and the most yummy pumpkin soup for entree. She even made her own bread with wheat she had ground herself in her wheat grinder. Man it was the best homemade bread ever. Sherri had made this cheesecakey mousse thing for dessert. We stayed talking til about 10pm and then decided that as it was school the next day we had better get the kids home.

Mark and Jackie are the best entertainers for dinners as you can just sit around the table for hours talking about anything and everything and not notice the time fly by. The kids obviously noticed it because the next morning none of them woke up until 8.15am, leaving only 30min for Sarra to get to school.

I was so busy talking I did not get any photos of Tyren and Mymona or of the adults or even how high Jasen's plate was piled with food :)
