Today we went to Kids Paradise... again. Lisa had given me this card she got when she went and it entitled us to two free family sessions... thanks Lisa. We had a brainwave and thought we would go today thinking that not all northern Tasmanian government schools would be having a student free day like Sarra's school but that seemed to be the case and all the other parents had the same brainwave as us. It was not too packed until a busload of private school kids from St Thomas Moore's pulled up at 1.00pm.
The kids had a ball. They opened that slide that goes from the top outside the building and winds its way down to the bottom floor. Hallie was disappointed as you had to be 5 to go on it and parents weren't not even allowed on it and hold the younger ones.
Oliver's favourite area was the HUGE jumping castle. He spent ages just running around and sliding down the giant slide. He was so hot and sweaty by the end of it. By the look of the photos I think Simon's favourite thing was the jumping castle too. Just a big kid!!
Hallie's favourite area was the water room. She loved dressing up in the raincoats and water shoes and playing with the water.
Sarra liked the hairdresser room but she also enjoyed the slide. They only opened it for a little while but she got two turns so that was something at least.
My favourite area was the cafe where I could sit back and relax in the sun and have a milkshake and foccacia. I was tempted to have a dessert but Simon had baked a cheesecake at home so we had that for afternoon tea instead. Sounds like he is very domesticated doesn't it!! I won't mention then that he burnt it a little bit... still yummy though.
