Every Friday Hallie has been going to transition to prepare her for kindergarten next year. She gets to go all by herself from 9-10.30 and then Oliver and I join her from 10.30-12 for the early learning programme.
Sarra feels very important taking Hallie to her class and putting her bag away. I am not allowed to do anything but walk along behind them. At recess time Sarra comes along to the kindergarten play area to check up on Hallie. She is so excited about Hallie joining her next year two days a week.
BUT the only problem is that Oliver always wants to go at the same time as the girls, even if he is not dressed. He does not understand dropping Hallie off and going and then coming back again. When we drop Hallie off and ride back home, over and over again he asks, 'where Hallie gone'.
Hopefully he won't be too lonely without her next year. Westbury only offers 2 full days for kinder so Oliver will have to put up with his boring old Mum for company.
