This afternoon we went to the airport to welcome Penny home for Christmas. She last came home in Feb 2007 with Sam and Ella and she was pregnant with Owen. Today she came with Same, Ella, Owen and Elliott. Her husband Chris is going to fly in on Dec 18 to spend an Aussie Christmas with us.
Penny is amazing!! She left from Atlanta Georgia airport on Friday with the 4 kids and Chris and flew for 5 hrs to LA. There Chris returned home for a few more weeks of exams and study and Penny booked into a hotel. At 11.20pm on Saturday night, loaded with Sam (5), Ella (4), Owen (2) and Elliott (7mths), Penny boarded the plane to Melbourne and landed this morning at 9.40am.
There Tammy met her to help with the kids and they boarded a plane for Launy at 3.30 pm. It is going to be a wonderful five weeks catching up with them.
Welcome home Penny.

oh boy, I hate to even imagine that trip with 4 tiny kids!!! I didn't realise she was here already and going to be here for so long - that is great!

Amazing ...That is one big adventure....i know what Chels was like with three and pregnant and flying from LA on her own to Tassie...you are one great mum Penny ..welcome "home"
